Shutters for Arched Windows

Plantation window shutters will fit on almost any window including arched windows. There are two types of arched window and we can manufacture window shutters to suit both. One is a perfect arch where the height of the arch is equal to the radius, then there is the imperfect arch or what some people call a compound arch. Examples of an imperfect or compound arch would be for an eyebrow window and compound arches can typically be found at the windows of barn conversions.

Plantation Shutters for Shaped Windows

Windows that are a shape other than a rectangle or square can be difficult to put window dressings to, especially if you are using curtains of regular blinds.  Using curtains or regular blinds at arched or circular windows will result in the shape being covered and hidden behind the fabric, and the feature of the window becomes lost.  In stark contrast to this, window shutters allow you to show-off the shape.  We’re able to manufacture a shutter identical in shape allowing you to make a feature of the window.

Beyond the more ‘usual’ shaped shutters such as circles and arches, we can manufacture other shapes too.  In fact, we can manufacture shapes for even the most awkward of windows.
