Step 1, Get a Quote. Please fill out our quote form or call us directly with your requirements and we will provide you with an estimate.

Step 2, Place Your Order. If you are happy with your estimate, please contact a member of the team who will help you to place an order. We will guide you through the options that are available ensuring you select the product that best fits your requirements.

Your order will then be delivered directly to your home ready for you to install.

SURVEY AND SUPPLY

Step 2, Arrange a Survey. If you are happy with your estimate, we will arrange for one of our surveyors to meet you at your home to discuss your requirements in further detail. Our surveyors don’t just survey, they fit the products too and understand the pitfalls and problems that may be involved in installing what you require. You will receive expert advice helping you to choose the right product and we will take precise measurements allowing you to place an order in confidence.

Your order will then be delivered to your home ready for you to install.

Step 3, Professional Installation. The person you met at the time of survey will return to complete the installation; either on their own or as part of a team. Relax in the knowledge that your newly orders shutters, blinds or awnings will be installed with both care and an attention to detail, and with a level of workmanship that befits the quality of the products we sell. Our installation teams work efficiently and tidily. All packaging will be removed after we’ve completed the work and you will be able to sit back and enjoy your new window coverings.

In our shutter section we go through all the different materials like Basswood, Larch, Poplar, Cedar and Coral wood as well as composite shutters like MDF Shutters and Polycarbonate for wet rooms, bathrooms and kitchens where high moisture or water could be a problem for traditional shutters.

Shutter Colours

Plantation shutters come in a wide variety of colours, stains and finishes and we have a whole section dedicated just to the Shutter colours. Needless to say Signature Shade has the widest range of shutter colours available in the UK and again if you don't see what you like we can colour the shutters to your exact shade.

What Are Plantation Shutters Made From?

More often than not they will be made from wood. Wooden Shutters are the most versatile; they can be made into any shape like a circle, triangle, hexagon, octagon etc. By far the most popular shaped shutter is the arched shutter. Wood Shutters can also be stained or painted, theres is so much more choice on offer with wooden interior shutters.

Can Plantation Shutters be Used Outside?

The simple answer is no, they are interior shutters for indoors. We do have exterior shutters specifically designed for outdoor use but they do not have the moveable louvres and control rod. Our exterior shutters are made from Western Red Cedar or Siberian Larch and are custom made to measure not off the shelf cheap shutters.

Do you offer Traditional Victorian Window Shutters?

We offer Solid Panel Shutters in the Victorian style. They are not exactly the same but the modern equivalent with a choice of moulded our raised panels. Made from Premium Basswood with longer life mortise and tenon joints our Solid Panel Victorian Window Shutters will last just as long as the original Victorian Shutters.

During the home survey we will demonstrate all the different materials and discuss the features and benefits of each. We will then measure your windows and give you a price for supplying and installing the shutters you have chosen. It couldn't be easier.
